A lovely Victorian silver locket with riding crop and hat motif to the front and Gothic style monogram to the reverse.
While primarily a tool for equestrian activities, riding crops held symbolism in the Victorian era for much more. They also represented social standing and wealth, a Victorian Lady that took part in Equestrian activities and advertised such through her Jewellery was one of strength and independence.
Measuring 21.5mm x 17.5mm it is a practical size for daily wear.
