This Vintage Sterling Silver chain really is a statement piece.
The link is tricky to describe, not a Byzantine but it’s certainly reminiscent of one. With circular links that intertwine similar to scales, the chain moves and handles in a way similar to what I imagine a Dragons tail would.
It has a tongue and groove barrel clasp, the size of which is in keeping with the chain. 6.5mm links – 7mm clasp.

Marked for Sterling Silver on the tongue of the clasp and xrf tested as sterling throughout.
