A Victorian silver Elephant of large scale originally from a baby rattle is now the most amazing pendant!
Just like the typical Victorian charms of the same period this piece is hollow and still contains its original rattle bead.
He is exceptionally well modelled and the level of detail is lovely. It’s one of those pieces I can’t stop handling, there’s a wonderful smoothness to the relief and it is in fantastic condition. So often these hollow Victorian pieces are dented or split, this is neither!
Silver mark and markers mark (unfortunately not legible) on O ring.
Decent size bail with little evidence of wear.
